I'd be happy with $600 for clean set leaving room for shipping for the buyer hoping still saving them some money
Would anyone know a rough estimate of shipping Ireland to USA I know a single seat weights 13.5kg roughly 30 pounds in your terms
As many replys as possible would be great on this
Is demand high? Would a clean set be snapped up straight away??
Or would they be hanging around for the right buyer??????
Thanks mucho appreciation
The only real issue I see is that you aren't stateside, with how many scammers there are right now not sure anyone would buy them unless you put them on Ebay. You could put them for $900 on Ebay including shipping and they would be bought pretty damn quick if they are clean.

Thanks for the input bro ,
yeah I wouldn't be too quick to trust an online seller either !!!
I was trying to add them on ebay last night but I didn't want to screw myself on the shipping didn't want it to end up costing loads on shipping and loosing profits on the seats
I think I will start to sell some smaller lower value items on here first to build up a sellers reputation then try shift some higher end stuff..
As I only have experience in selling items here in the small island of Ireland where my customer base and reach is frightfully small..

Ig your trying to get rich off of the seats then it wont happen. Most people wont buy from a private seller across the world when they can buy them in person and actually get to see them before they pay. I live in the North east and they are easy to get ahold of here. In red and black.
shipping will kill you. the only real way to do this and make money is to purchase space in a shipping container and have 40 sets or so brought over on a boat
1200 for mint ones is also hard to get, i've seen importers selling mint ones for 850-1000 with average going for 600-700 for quite some time
black ones tend to sell easier if you can source those

I've seen pretty clean sets sit for months going for 800 picked up locally with with rails and sliders. The Honda scene has phased. Parts are abundant and buyers with real $ are limited- supply and demand. Ebay always fetches more buyers so that would be your best option; take into account customs duties the buyer will have to pay.
Speaking as someone else from Ireland and like others have said the shipping is gonna bugger you. I reckon the better idea would be to ship a couple of whole cars to the US. When I see the prices of R's in the US compared to here it's quite the eyeopener. For the average price in the US for one car, you could buy three, maybe four good condition JDM R's here in Ireland. If you could find them of course, they're definitely getting rarer on the roads here. They're cheaper in Ireland even when compared to our UK neighbours. Hell take a look at Japanese auction sites and they're thin on the ground there and twice the price of an Irish car, before you take shipping and taxes etc into account.
So get a shipping container(about a 1000 quid last time I looked) stick a couple of cars in it, or better yet, break em down into parts. The bare chassis is worth jack for our US mates, plus less hassle with customs where parts are concerned compared to whole cars. Then get that to the US and you might make a few quid alright. You'd need an American bloke on the ground to do the deals at his end and then split the proceeds.
Better again, maybe see what the guys on HT are looking for, build a shopping list and work it that way. Keep it in the family as they say.
I hate the idea of cars like ours being broken for parts, but I'd prefer to see said parts going to fellow petrolheads at home or in the states at lower prices than they're being currently charged.
