Default Help me Please. Si 2007 Coupe

I recently bought a 2007 Honda Civic Si with 105k Miles on it. I drove it home and it was very nice and smooth..

Any time I buy a used car I like to change the fluids and do a tune up.

I change the Cabin Filter
Air Filter
Coolant
Transmission Fluid
Oil and Filter
Spark Plugs OEM
Valve Cover
O-Rings
Grommets
and I gently with a slighty drench paper towel in Throttle bottle cleaner clean the Throttle body...
I am now having some Rev Idling issues...Mainly the car continues revving from 1K RPMs to 2.5k RPms as if I was pressing on the gas pedal...Also when I'm in gear there is Jerk move when I let go of the gas pedal

I burped the coolant to make sure i didn't have air.
today I remove the battery cables and restarted it and let it idle (I think perhaps not long enough) Will try to reset and idle tomorrow for a solid 15-20 minutes...
The throttle body 100% needed to be clean. It was coated heavily in carbon. I'm hoping the reset works..Does anyone have any idea what else it could be? Or what I can do. I"m in morris county, NJ. Does anyone know how to calibrate the Throttle Body without having to pay the Dealership..I'm broke right now after buying the car and doing the tune up(Which need it)

The Reset didn't work. Now I dont know if I need it to have it Calibrate it. Or I should buy one The damn Auto Revving from 1kRPM to 2.5 RPM after taking it out of gear is obnoxious.

Are you running the ac when the rpms jump. Even if not it is a potential sign of a seizing ac pump. Did you check the maintenance records on buying it?

No I am not. When I turn the AC there is small kick feel/sound but I think that's normal. The rpm revving and a little harder jolt when taking foot of gas is annoying. Does only the honda delearship do calibration. Not sure if to buy or Calibrate it

Try the reset again and make sure you are doing it correctly

Here is what I did when it came to the reset.
Unplug both battery cables. Left them for a while off
Plug back in and Turn car on (Made sure the AC wasn't running) I let it idle for a good 20 minutes. at first the auto-Revving isn't there. once I get going the Jerk when taking foot of gas and then when I go to neutral the Revving starts on its own. I got a feeling the Throttle has really gone haywire ...
What are some of the things I should worry about? Say I left as is for now? Would it affect any other stuff? Would the worst case just be the obnoxiousness of it?
Oh yeah If I do buy the throttle body! Would it need to be tune into my car?

Idk what the reset is like man.
But I do know when I messed up the TB on my g35, I had to do the reset procedure like 5 times before it worked.

If the rpms are jumping on its own in park neutral whatever without touching accelerator it could be something other then throttle body. Unless its possessed. Bad injector fuel filter sppark plug cables rattached in wrong order. I've never seen a throttle get messed by cleaning it. Its gotta be something else unless you damaged it during you aerosol session

Judging by the comments, you may just have to drive the car around until the idle corrects itself.

I think youre right! I have done a few resets and sometimes it feels better... I definitely feel now that when I'm cruising and its on neutral (The Air flow is pushing the Throttle open ...? I say this because I now got it almost to the point that if I'm stand still it no longer revs itself...***Sigh***I borrowed today my friends 10,000$ Snap On Computer and the best I could do was Reset the PC that way I think it may it a little bit better but still... Gonna hope it gets better. *sigh* so i can start enjoying my baby!

Next time when cleaning the throttle body, spray the cleaner on a Clean cloth and wipe off any dirt instead of spraying directly in the throttle body.

That's what I did. I just think that when manually pushing the throttle plate it makes it go haywire/that and the fact that the Air filter was super filthy and the throttle was super coated in carbon deposit that I think truly may it go wack on me once all was cleaned and changed.
Thanks for your time thought cheeech
