1995 Honda accord v6 Check engine light
Looks like code 12- EGR Lift Sensor (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor.
Find the EGR valve, make sure the wiring and connector are fine, unhook the connector verify there is no damage/corrosion. Reinstall. Check wire harness for damage. If you can, on cold engine, pull the EGR diaphragm up and make sure it can move smoothly. If it is hard to move or crunchy/chunky there may be carbon preventing full lift. If it moves smoothly turn the car on and slowly increase rpms while watching the egr solenoid for lift.
If no movement you will want to test the diapgragm for leaks with a vacuum source. If the EGR valve then works you will need to check the vacuum line feeding the valve, if no vacuum present when rpms increase then there is possibly an issue with the EGR vacuum control solenoid.
