90 acura integra ac/radiator fan?
i start my car. drive it and check my car. both fans does not turn on. and also when i am driving on the road. ill always look at my temparture which doesnt seem to overheat at all. and my ac does not blow cold at all. any suggestion or help. im a noob to this whole automobile issues :D
no a/c pressure = a/c pressure switch not activated.
afaik neither fan with turn w/o a/c pressure (nice design guys!).
add r-134 and stop leak if necessary.

The rad fan can also turn on with ign. off, controlled by the oil temp. switch.
The A/C may not be working because of a low A/C charge and in a 90 Integra that will be R12, not R134A, unless it was retrofitted to R134A, but there are other reasond for the A/C not to work, [blown fuse, bad relay, bad clutch coil to name a few].
NEVER add any kind of sealent to an A/C system, even the crap that comes in the over the counter cans, it will do more harm then good and hardly ever seals the leak anyway, and REDTEK and Duracool contain Butain or Propain as the refrigerant and they are hydrocarbons, once in a system they are always in the system and most A/C shops will not touch the system and if you have to replace a part, [compressor, condensor, evaporator or any A/C part[ there will be no warranty on that part, even if DOA.
If the A/C system has a leak, find the leak and repair it, almost always just dryed out Orings, or a bad furral.
BTW tamboo, don't quit your day job. 94

The rad fan will also turn on if the A/C is turned on or if the oil temp. switch senses high oil temp. triggering the Rad Fan Control Unit, [also called rad fan timer module] once ign. is turned off.
If the rad fan is not turning on when engine coolant temp. hits 200 degrees, [with A/C on or not] then there is a problem with the rad fan circuit and has nothing to do with the A/C. 94
Not sure how I can describe it any better.
The rad fan will turn on any time the engine coolant temp. reaches about 200 degrees, no matter what is wrong or not wrong with the A/C system, it is controlled by the ECT switch and the rad fan relay.
The rad fan will also turn on when ign. switch is off, if oil temp. is high, controlled by the oil temp switch, Rad Fan Control Unit and rad fan relay.
Both the rad fan and the condenser fan will turn on when A/C is turned on, and working, controlled by the A/C switch, condenser fan relay, A/C diode pack and rad fan relay.
If A/C fails to work, only the condenser fan will fail to turn on, it does not effect the rad fan operation.

lol i guess i need to look into this as well.
i get both fans with a/c but no rad fan after shutdown
which should be happening this time of year so will be trying this:

Both fans are supposed to come on with A/C, the fans will only come on when ign. is off if the oil temp. is high and that will only happen if the engine cooling system is not working properly or the engine is excessively hot due to hard driving, the Canadian version of the Integra does not even come with the Rad Fan Control Unit, so I am guessing it is not a huge problem other than for emissions, [an EPA thing]. 94
