Default Integra P0715 Code

Recently I got the P0715 CEL on my 96 Integra and I've been so busy that I've been putting it off to fix the issue. Well today I decided I would look into it and pulled out the service manual. According to the service manual, the mainshaft speed sensor needs to have a resistance between 4-600 ohms and I checked it out today and mine came out to be 5.75 M ohms. So if I'm thinking correctly, that makes the sensor way out of spec and it should be replaced correct? Also I removed the 10mm bolt holding the sensor in place but no matter how hard I pulled it would not come out. Is there any trick to removing them?

I guess I'll have to buy a new sensor and post back with the results.

Well if it's out of spec then replace it.
Nope. The 10 mm bolt comes off and so should the sensor.
Lightly take the sides to see if it will break free

Finally got the sensor and replaced it and the sensor was no good. I'm glad the transmission was fine. Now I need I replace the inner and outer tie rods.
