ok so i get the dreaded O2 slow response CEL code on my reader everyday... changed sensors a bunch of times... wasting money just to pass emissions... so i heard that honda put out a newer ecu the A12, so i finally found one and got it in the other day. Pluged it in and the car didn't start

So is there anything different between the P2T A11 and A12 that won't let it start up??? or something i have to do... i'm running out of options and definitely out of time!!!

 

did you have the ignition switch and key with that ecu?

 

no i don't... i didn't know there was a difference...

 

Well the ecu was off ebay... only one i could find anywhere!!! so i grabbed it quick... guy assured it worked just fine when pulled...

 

Well i'm using the same key that i used on my D... so... there has to be a way to get it to work....?

 

Immobilizer... It will need to be reprogrammed at the dealer.

 

is it a European ecu? usdm ones don't have immobilizers.
