Need advice/tips for new stock Civic.
I just recently bought a 2013 Civic EX. Stock engine. 140hp. Beautiful car, insanely fun to drive, and all around great vehicle to own. So I'm seeking some basic advice from this community to just add a little more muscle to my car. I have done some general research (links below), but I'm still not 100% certain what I should do. I'm not looking to race, or do a major engine swap, but I am looking to add some ***** to my car. Again, nothing major, and nothing too pricey, I just want to make this a little project that I can have for my self for the next couple of years.
Side question: is there anything that will void my coverage from insurance if I buy it and put it into my car/engine?
What do you guys recommend I should invest in, just to add a little more "muscle"?
Thanks

if you wanted more *****, you should have bought a Si. i never understood why people want to dump any money into a R18 powered Civic.
basically the only mods that won't get you totally laughed at would be some suspension upgrades and different wheels. otherwise it's a waste of time, money, and effort.
as far as a warranty. as long as you can put everything back to stock if you need to take it to the dealer, you're golden. but like i said, it's a waste. the 06+ is still too new and there really aren't any "cool" swaps available to even entertain the idea in my mind. most all of your components should be in good, working order and if you aren't planning on racing it.. there's no need to make pointless purchases.
wait until the shell is worth >$5,000 and put some money in it.
