Icon3 Seeking general advice to tune up a 2013 Civic. [ALL WELCOME]

Hey guys, new member here, I should first mention that I am a huge fan of the car "tuning" community (for lack of a better term).

However, I'm not in school for automotive engineering or anything, so I just have the basic knowledge of engines like: exhaust systems, CAI's, headers, etc...

I just recently bought a 2013 Civic EX. Stock engine. 140hp. Beautiful car, insanely fun to drive, and all around great vehicle to own. So I'm seeking some basic advice from this community to just add a little more muscle to my car. I have done some general research (links below), but I'm still not 100% certain what I should do. I'm not looking to race, or do a major engine swap, but I am looking to add some ***** to my car. Again, nothing major, and nothing too pricey, I just want to make this a little project that I can have for my self for the next couple of years.

Side question: is there anything that will void my coverage from insurance if I buy it and put it into my car/engine?

What do you guys recommend I should invest in, just to add a little more "muscle"?

Thanks

What are your goals? A "little muscle" is a bit vague. Instead of the typical intake, heads, and exhaust that everybody seems to be doing, I'd start with a good suspension setup. I'm not too familiar with your model, so you should have probably posted this in the Civic 06-Curent section, but nonetheless, a proper suspension setup will be the best place to start imo.
