MY 90 SI - DOHC ZC
Hey guys, well first off since no one trolls the "Introduce yourself" forum, Im gonna start by saying hello. Here's my 90 SI, DOHC ZC stock. Lowered. full exhaust, intake, and purrs like a kitten. Motor is perfect and just working on the appearance for now.

Now my question: Trying to keep everything JDM/stock - appearance wise - aside from the wheels. Now my question. Put the headers and downpipe on yesterday, everything fit fine (stock roadiator/fans) but now the radiator has seemed to shift slightly and my exhaust is sitting on a fan housing. Never heard either fan come on and never had a heat problem. With a stock motor would it really hurt to remove one of the fans? Thanks.

Well, I pulled against an EG with a stock b18, gave him the beans ya know? Hit about 80 then slowed down. When I came to a stop the exhaust was very hot and the plastic had already melted back a bit lol. I guess i'll leave it, but is the plastic hard enough to not combust?
No one trolls the "introduce yourself" forum probably because nobody is interested.
You said "never heard either fan come on". I find this strange. You have one fan for your radiator and you have a secondary fan for A/C only. Both fans should come on during A/C use. I suggest you troubleshoot your fans and make sure they work.
You really should have your radiator fan in place. Maybe consider a slim fan so it doesn't run so close to your header.
