96 accord 2.2 vtec misfire issues
my 96 accord ex wagon has been excellent for years until the day before my wedding day this past friday. The check engine light would start blinking for a few seconds and then it would just stay solid. It did this over and over again. It started running rough when taking off slowly from stoplights and also when cruising at any speed for more than a few seconds.
It needed a tuneup so I replaced the plugs, wires, cap and rotor.
I guess my questions are these:
1. Before I pay someone $450 to replace the crank sensor, is there something else I should be checking?
2. Is the sensor something I could change myself?
Any help would be appreciated

erase the code and pull the egr valve connector and drive it around for a couple days....after a day or so it will throw the egr code....drive it like that and see if the troubles go away and the ckp sensor code doesn't come back....if it doesn't, clean out the egr ports and egr valve
I figured after watching a video on YouTube, I would clean the egr passages. it completely fixed the issues!!!!! it was packed full.
Thanks for the help everybody!
