Shifter wiggles around...
I drive a b16a-swapped 1990 crx with a ys1 transmission. The problem I'm experiencing (one of them anyways...) is the shifter wiggles around, even when in gear. Due to this, I sometimes push into the wrong gear when attempting to shift quickly. I'm not terribly familiar with transmission or shifter parts, but it appears the shifter is the wrong size for the shifter housing, (the ball on the shifter seems too small for the housing).
My question is, what kind of shifter and shifter housing should I purchase to replace this defective part? Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.
Thanks!

Try changing out your shifter bushings. The wiggle in your stick may be due to a corroded and old bushing.
If this has already been changed out...it could be due to an extended shifter.
When using a circuit hero, fastline, hybrid shifter...the extended arm will make a small play seem much larger.
