I'm conflicted in worrying about lining these holes up or just worrying about using the cam gears notches to line everything up.

The bottoms end is b18c1 head is b16. Using just the cams the lobes are in the correct position.

I'm ultimately just curious if this is a common issue or something I should be concerned about. I did notice from research the cam covers on the b18c are different than the b16. In terms of the alignment holes. Which is leaving me to believe I have Gsr cams and b16 covers.

Can anyone spread some light on the matter. And no need to be rude. If my question seems unclear please let me know. Thanks guys. I can take some photos if needed but I'm currently at work.
