Default 4dr power lock issue

One day my locks on all but my driver door on my four door stopped locking/unlocking with the key fob. You can manually lock each door on the door itself, but if you try to use the switch inside on the driver door it doesn't unlock/lock them either. Any ideas?

Check for broken wiring in the drivers door wire boot, [rubber boot between door and chassis, it is a common problem to have broken leads in the drivers door boot as it is the door that is opened/closed the most. 94

I have checked the wires and this is not the issue. Any other possibilities?

Then either the actuators in the other doors are NG or, because it is effecting all other doors, there is a break in the wiring for the other acutators where the split off the the lines coming from the PDLCU.
What is the MM&Y of your 4door. 94

Still have this issue. Broke into the front doors to see if they were getting power. Just check the fronts and the passenger side is getting power to the actuator when I press the lock unlock buttons. Anyone else have any ideas?

Are you at least getting power to the drivers side power door lock actuator wires when you hit the switch?

I'm having some what the same problems except I have a 2door. My driver side will work fine with the key but my passager side I have to try to open the door will turning the key to unlock it. Sometimes my locks don't want to unlock or lock by using the switch. Sometimes they both will unlock and lock constantly for second or 2 by using the switch then they unlock. should I try what you suggested him? or is there another cause?

Your problem sounds like an issue with the door handle linkage being jammed somehow or one of the actuators going bad.

The OP's issue is still in the air because not enough info is known just yet.

The power door lock system in your car is a, "Polarity Reversing Ground at Rest Central Locking System" meaning both the leads going to the actuators are grounds at rest, [not locking or unlocking].

It is the first test you should perform, make sure both the leads going to the actuators, white/red and yellow/red, the blue/red, blue/white and black also going to the drivers door actuator is for the central locking switch in the actuator.

If both leads going to the actuators test as grounds, [full continuity the chassis ground] you will need to test for reversing polarity, a simple 12V test light is the easiest way to do it, unplug the actuator and connect the test light ground clip to one of the terminals in the plug, connect the test light probe to the other terminal in the plug, [they will be the white/red and yellow/red leads] rock the power door lock switch on either door to lock and unlock or you can also use the remote, [key fob], test light must light up when locking and unlocking the doors, if so, replace the actuators, if not, replace the Power Door Lock Control Unit, [in drivers door].

Before you replace the PDLCU test for power, [white/green] and ground, [black] to the PDLCU, if good replace the unit. 94
