Water pump replacement, coolant leak questions
Car: 1991 CRX base with a D15B7, DPFI. 166k miles. half size radiator (only "mod").

Hey folks, I've got an awful coolant leak. I've tightened down all hoses, etc. but it's still persisting. The leak is coming from under the dizzy, so I'm guessing it's the water pump. It looks like it's just sort of spraying all over the place under there.
My question is, that's where the water pump is, right? I always thought it was on the driver's side of the bay, by the timing belt. But after a little searching it seems like it's actually under the dizzy.
My other question is, should I replace the water pump, or try just replacing the gaskets/seals for it first? The pump seems to be working fine, it's just leaking real bad around it.
I found a how-to thread for replacing it, but all the picture links are broken, is there another write up with working pics? I can't seem to find one. If there isn't I'd be happy to take pictures of the process and post a new walkthrough from a "layman's" perspective,

who ever said the water pump is under the distributor is smoking some good crack, its really on the drivers side under the timing belt cover
also, check all the little hoses (especially where the heater hose goes into the head), and the temperature switch under the distributor
