Default 1990 Civic STD build thread

Hey Honda-Tech, this is my first build thread, ever. And my first Honda DD.
I've had this car for a few weeks and just wanted to show everyone what I'm doing with it.

I picked it up for $500, it has some frame damage in the front right. Nothing too serious, my build is for MPG and daily drive-ability

I don't have any pics before I cleaned her up *updated my phone didn't back it up*
Trust me, the trim was super faded, one of my co-worker buds used a buffer and 2 stage wax to do a quick buff, looks amazing now

Here is some images of the rust, and the fender damaged when it was wrecked.

Driver side rust

Passenger only has one rust spot

Passenger fender

(look at the shiny hood!)

Picked up some junkyard goodies!

They don't line up too well, but they look damn good either way! Got them off an 88 EX so there are some differences. Not the best condition but hell, not a show car!

Grabbed a stock air box from the junkyard as well. Through a K&N Filter in it.

Also picked up a battery hold down.

Had my old wood grain Grant hanging around, figured it'd look nice so I bought a hub assembly from O'Reilly and through it on.

And on the plus side, it's larger diameter so it's a noticeable difference in turning

96 Teggy console, was a bitch to get it in with decent lines!

The lines look better without flash on lol

Looks like a good start and rust doesn't look too serious. Also glad to see you put a stock air box on with a quality filter
