Hi, I'm beyond new to Hondas. An my accord is giving serious odd codes. I had egr valve code and a Cyl 3 mis fire. So I replaced the egr and a few days later its still flashing the code and miss firing pulled the plug wires while running and cyl. 3 had no change in the motor so it's dead. I ran a cup of seafoam trough it an it started firing again. Well took it up on the highway for a few miles an when ingot off it started spitting a little again an cyl is dead once more. So I'm seeking a few opinions here. Is it just a massive carbon build up, wires going back a plug got dirty? Plugs new last November yes NGK. There was a engine foul up a few weeks ago but I don't think it's part of the issue. An compression is round 150 in 3 and one with roughly 130-140. Any ideas or help would be amazing I plan on trying wire switching and injector swapping to see if it moves tomorrow.

Are you still getting a code for the egr? If so please give the code you are getting....Pxxxx?

 

I've deleted that code 10 times today, ill have it ran again to post it tomorrow. A slight update replaced cap an button distributer is new same with coil pack. But cleaned plugs swapped plugs an wires issue is still in cyl 3. It's fine an good steady idle till it gets warm an then cyl 3 shuts down.
