So after rebuilding my L-3 tranny on a dohc zc new axles new seals bearings ect. i took it for a test drive around the block, 1-2-3-4-5 like butter, stopped 1-2-3 then whent into 4th and nothing...... It slipped into gear like normal but its as if the clutch is stuck open like neutral???? Now all gears are blank, it clicks into any gear perfect but no power to wheels. I wasn't hot roddin it or speed shifting didnt even go over 30mph. No grinds no nothing. Clutch feels normal i can see the throwout pivot arm moving normal. Axles are still in place........ Im so at a loss for words, Please help me... I Have to go to work on monday cant miss anymore days. I know the mass of knowledge on this forum is my best chance for any luck. All ideas welcome.

 

I would amost bet part of the shift fork assembly came apart in the tranny,somewhere in the shift sector, if you have ruled out everything external,its going to have to come apart

 

I would rule the pin for the shift linkage underneath came out.

 

He said its shifting into gear though,if the pin fell the shifter would flop everywhere

 

Cv popped out of the knuckle (face palm face palm) ugh thanks anyway guys i always appreciate it...
