JDM b16a obd1 won't start???
Hey guys, I just decided to swap my engine a few days ago. Spur of the moment, I bought an engine from a trusted seller and put it in my 93 Civic (4-door). As title states it is an obd1 jdm b16a. I bought a jdm b16 ecu for it. For some reason I can't figure out, it won't start. It won't even turn over on its own. I checked the spark plugs and they look fine, but they don't seem to be getting spark, although it did spark once. It seems to be getting fuel. The wiring, grounds, and fuses should all be correct, triple checked them. I have a feeling it is the distributor, but i need more opinions. Everything should work, its just not getting spark for some reason and it won't turn over. Please help, thanks!
The JDM B16A ran on the PR3 or PW0 ECU, right? What are you using? I thought you had to chip an ECU to run a B16A on OBD1 because it was originally an OBD0 engine. (just from my experience with my motor)
