Default Enkei RPF1 question

I just saved enough money for wheels that I've wanted for a very long time, but sizing is the issue. I drive a 1998 integra lowered on form&function type 1s currently on LS mesh, i'm looking to get a flushed look without the crazy camber settings. So i'm picking between two RPF1 sizes 15x7 +35 offset or 16x8 +38 both in ordinary 4x100 pattern. Which would cause more issues fitment wise, which one would be geared more towards the flush look? Tire size suggestions? Found a deal for 15x7 +35 offset with 195/50-15 out the door $880. Please redirect me if there's already a post like this. Having trouble deciding which rim size to pick.

We'd recommend ET40 or higher to avoid any rubbing issues. ET35 will be very flush, and will most likely require a fender lip roll or other mods to make them useable.

You can fit a 15x7 +32 with 205/50/15's under stock sheetmetal, to be honest.

Well, we do tend to be on the conservative side when it comes to offsets ......

Yeah, I've run into that a few times.

It would be a bit nicer to have sizing options available to the end user up front, instead of going through the hassle of choosing a car that isn't your own just because it has a more "suitable" fitment for wheels that you're looking for. Some of us go a bit beyond the standard sizing.

I have some enkei 15x7 +36 with z1 205/50/15 -1.4 camber up front/-1.0 in rear and I had to roll my lips. I would say they are perfect fitment, IMO.

So 16x8 would be out of the question? If I were to fit it on with no modifications?

Depending on offset, they can be fit without issue, but it severely limits tire availability due to size constraints.

205/45-16 is a common size for an Integra on 16s, but isn't approved for 8" wide wheels. 215/45-16 is only available in some tires, but is what you'd want to run instead.

You would need to modify the sheetmetal, most likely. Properly sized tires for those wheels will rub on your car.
