Did you check all the basics? Bulb, fuse, wiring behind the tail light?

Wow people really that dumb? Not so sound like an ***, but come on, we all have common sense, just need to use it.

It's a bulb most likely 99.9%

no its not the bulb. there is only one bulb in that part of the light. normally when you turn your headlights on you tail lights turn on (taillight running light? i dont know what there called) . and when you hit the break they get brighter to indicate that you are breaking. the light gets brighter when i hit the break. but when im not on the break the driver side one is completely out. while the passenger side one is still lit up as it should be.

it's a dual-filament bulb meaning the tail and brake lights use the same bulb. the tail filament can burn-out without affecting the brake filament and vice versa

just a bulb. Just go to autozone or something like that and they'll look it up for you.

Hi,

Check you wiring earth connections on the light unit, also check your bulb for being loose or corroded.

Happy CR-Ving

mine was the tail light. its a tail light/break light. i replaced it and its been working ever since. just make sure not to touch the actual bulb on the install. its said that it ruins it.

lol, I had a problem with mine. then I realized I got the right bulb but single filament.

live and learn.

Guess I'm a noob, and also if you do touch a halogen bulb the oil from your skin creates a hot spot on the bulb and does make it last significantly less.

try this on a 500w or 1000w halogen bulb and watch them burn out in a matter of a few hours.
