I did a search here, and yes, I did google searches but still not finding what I want. This forum is pretty dead so I'm not sure if I'll have any luck but worth asking. I'm new to autobody paint, just got a gun and wanted to pick up some paint to test on a few parts I have laying around. If things go well then I'm thinking of spraying my roll bar, some wheels, and maybe my engine bay. It'd be nice if the place I find is helpful and might answer any questions I'd have about mixing/using the paint I buy.

1) The local paint supply place (GE Paint Supply) that I found can't mix custom colors and the owner was a bit of a dick when I went in there. Everything else I'm finding on Google is just auto body repair shops, not paint supply stores.

2) Anyone have a place they like in Long Beach area? Willing to drive a bit, but not too far hopefully, closer the better.

3) If I can't find a paint supply store, should I start calling body shops?
