I need help with Rex i dont know what went wrong with my strut connected to my mount

Icon2 I need help with Rex i dont know what went wrong with my strut connected to my mount

So today i installed my strut's with coilover sleeves and upper control arm i think i messed up because i saw my strut pooping out of the mount as soon as i dropped the car to see how it sit's.








#1 is the strut pooping out after i lowered the car.

what did i do wrong i thought i had everything but i must have overlooked something very important because the strut/shock isn't tight to the strut mount does anyone know whats going on?

After u put the bump stop theres a washer your supposed to put on

it didn't come with any washer im just gonna put the stock strut mount on instead of the aftermarket one if you want them ill sell them to you for player price?

The stock strut has the washer in it you can use im good bro i dont f*cks with ebay junk

Be cautious removing stock springs use spring compressors if u dont have a technique on removing them

Maybe it's just me, but...... in the first pic it looks like the nut simply needs to be tightened down. The nut should have a washer under it, but it looks like there's more threads the nut could be using?

Nevermind, I had to think about that one some more. Do what JDMJunkie said, it's a weird looking washer. Those old springs look like they've had the heat treatment before.

no i forgot to put in the washer on and i took the old strut mount just by taking off the top bolt while the shock/strut was under the frame of the car its a short cut i found and it works. i just installed it and it works fine now just gotta do the rest of them 3 more to go.

Had a friend once pop a hole in his Ford Probe's hood by forgetting this washer.
