I have a teg b18b1 and oil is in where my spark plugs are. I have a full gasket set for head and I am trying to get help to properly fix it. I don't want to mess it up. Please help.

 

More then likly just the rubber washers around the spark plug tubes need replacing not a big deal or a costly one

Take off ur valve cover and flip it upside down and change out those o rings for the spark plugs. This happen to me a month ago, oil filled up my spark plug tube and changes out gasket and fixed it

 

Do I have to use any of the sealant stuff on it of just the seals? And thank you

Yes u can if you'd like. I do it just in case, just get some rtv sealant make sure it's oil resistance and seal around the o rings. Let dry for 1hr or 2 or whatever the direction says and ur good to go.

When u take out ur old o rings gasket if they are hard and cracked that's when u should replace them, any rubber gasket are the same too. If they when they loose they're elastic and get hard then they won't seal as good

 

I have Rtv red. How much do I put. Just a few drops?

 

Clean oil off wher the gasket is goin to sit and just place a light coat around the o rings
