Default Help! 1995 civic coupe

I have a 95 civic coupe that will not have any power when the key is to the on position. I just replaced the alternator and battery. When the key is on there is no power so I need to jump it and when running it will not charge the battery. Any ideas on what could be wrong? The car is not throwing a cel.

I would suggest you check your main grounds first regardless.

Does the starter crank the engine when key is held in ON(III)?

Give more details about this^

Because it suggests that your new battery is dead.

I jump it so the alternator can charge the battery but it does not charge. Have had my battery and alternator tested and still nothing. Can it be a bad ground for the ecu?

When you jump the battery, the engine starts and runs, right?

When you disconnect the jumper cables with the engine running, does the engine stall or keep running?

1) Have the new battery tested. Charge/replace if necessary.

2) When the engine is idling with all accessories off and jumpers disconnected, what voltage do you read across the 2 battery posts?
