Wheel offset
I've spent the last 45 minutes to an hour scouring the internet and haven't been able to find a definitive answer yet.
Over the weekend I picked up some used Hankook RS3 in 224/45-15. I know it's not an ideal size, but the price was right and I couldn't say no. Unfortunately, I don't own any 4x100 15" wheels so I'm looking around for something that will work. There are lots of 6" width wheels out there, but that is just too narrow for something as wide as a 225. I'm thinking 15x7 is what I'd like to find, but I might settle for a 6 1/2". 15x7.5 would be ideal, but I'm a cheap bastard and probably won't find a 7.5" for what I consider a reasonable price.
Anyway... What offset do I need to clear the suspension on a '90 Civic DX? I'm not /too/ concerned with the fenders just yet because I'm still at stock ride height, but if it rubs on the suspension that's a deal breaker for me.

Ideal rim size is 15x7. Any offset between +35 through +45 would work. With the tire size you have, I am pretty sure you are going to rub, but see what someone else says.
you'll need 7.5 rim. those tires run a little wider then what they claim. 8" would be better.
with a 7" rim, it's going to bubble over. even worse with a 6.5.
going with that, try to find and offset that is 38 and lower. wouldn't go lower then 30 since you're still at stock height.
my suggestion in rim, Tire Racks TR Motorsports C1. you'll have to look it up under miata, or bmw e30 for the right offset
