Help D16z6 engine cylinder head.
ok i got two cylinder heads on have been resurfaced and ready to put on my current engine build.
i have another d16z6 head on the side that hasn't been resurfaced and it is my spare one. but kept very good and not rusted.

the parts for the one that has been resurfaced ready to be put on the rockerarm/assemblies,cam, bolts but looks a little all rusted and not well looking compared to my other z6 spare parts. also the head that was been resurfaced the cam some journals near the seal looked very gouged and damaged. i don't want it to leak.


can i use my spare head parts assemblies/camparts, gears, etc it look better than the other one that is originally installed on. also not way rusted.
and put it on my current one.


in other words.

Another rockerarm/camshaft assemblies, form another car to
another way different set of head.

i got the bolts all labled where it goes in particaluar way.

just want to know if its a good idea to swap a used set of rockerarm/camshaft assemblies into another head???

 

you can swap the cams and rocker assembly, but you shouldn't swap the cam caps.

 

okay i will do change my Camshaft to a better condition one. another problem though. im concerned about my cam cap heres the pic. is it usable it been gouged the place where the cam seal is installed the top part the previous owner used a flat head screw driver looks like. can i still use this will this leak heres the pic .
