Icon2 Question About ELM with 1997 civic

I got a question, I've found by vin number my 1997 civic ex that was made in the US so it comes with OBDII port according the vin number results. However my car comes with 2 pin and 3 pin connector and I don't know why... So I purchased torque app, 3 pin to 16 pin cable and the ELM 327, but it doesn't works. I thought that it was because I got a p28 ECU on my car coz it's turbo. But I connect the OEM ECU and result is the same. Somebody knows if exist some way to make the torque app works with my civic? Thanks in advance!!!!

won't work. your car is converted to obd1.

obd2 port is a standard only for USDM ecus.
