Default Exhaust question.

I have a 99 civic sedan, intake, s2k throttlebody, skunk2 intake mani. (D16Y8). Within a year I'm planning to gsr turbo swap, but im due for a new exhaust. So I'm between skunk2 megapower RR or Apexi Noir muffler with custom straight pipe.

Opinions, comments, recommendations? Thanks!

Megapower RR(3'') if you're boosting. Or really any 3'' exhaust

tip doesn't matter 60mm is 2.5'' or 2.36ID. Again if you are going to Turbo your b18c1 a 3'' is recommended for FI setups.

"Due for a new exhaust"? Exhaust isn't a wear item...you don't replace it at X miles, you replace it when you want to replace it.

Youtube. Listen to sound clips. No one can sit here and tell you in text how exhaust sounds.

Yes I realize, but seeing as it's a 14 year old stock exhaust with a hole in the muffler and needing a new catalytic converter; I'd say I'm "Due for a new exhaust....

A 3" in overkill for a N/A engine. If you do a swap, pretty sure the header wouldn't fit the B18.

your doing a swap in a year..why waste the money on an exhaust your going to have to change when you boost it anyway. go the cheaper route for now. SR*S on ebay in a decent low dollar on a budget kind of exhaust. and 3" is way to big for a NA engine. but its your money.. just my .02

why blow your cash on branded tubing kits? Why not just buy a tube kit and select your own muffler/res combo?

Since you have a plan to boost later on, Id suggest you get parts your going to need in the future. Those bullshit exhaust kits are 2.3" inner diameter which is fine for NA.

2.5" is fine for low boost set ups, but after 235hp, go the 3"

heres kits ive used in the past which comes with everything.
