How tight do I make the belt tension on the timing belt? Its a D15.

 

you follow the notes in the factory shop manual. its spring loaded to set the right tension.

you DO have a copy of the shop manual, RIGHT?

I do... But, I found the spring missing and I need to drive her on Monday. I hoped someone had a good "Trick up the sleeve" while the new spring is on order.

Next question... Do I REALLY need the bottom timing belt cover?? No one ever runs with the top on.
