Okay, so after doing searches on HT as well as various other sites, I'm getting conflicting results. On the Eg center consoles, the double din "audio center console" and a single din simply referred to as a "center console", is there an easy way to tell from looking at the front if it is for a Lhd or a rhd? I know that you can't get either of the two different consoles to fit a usdm car if it was made for a rhd vehicle. I just picked up a nice pioneer double din cd/dvd player for cheap and was thinking about relocating the climate control to the center console and installing the head unit up top so I'm at least not looking down while being irresponsible driving around watching movies. My conflicting results are that supposedly you can tell from the cig lighter postion or the ash tray size, but I'm not finding a straight enough answer to risk buying a 100-300$ part just to have it not fit. Lhd have the cigg lighter on the right side. Rhd will be on left side.

 

Thanks speed junkie. That's the most common answer I found but there words "I think" were usually too close to the answer for comfort. I'm assuming that's a universal way of tell on either of the two different consoles? And also, in some on my searches people were sourcing them from the dealership. I called my local and they said it was unavailable. Did the guy not know what I was talking about or are all the new ones from Honda just gone? I looked on icb motor sport but they are sold out. Just wondering where else I could get one besides halfway around the world.

 

Second-hand is your only option nowadays. All gone at the dealer.

 

That's what I figured. The 95's are 18 years old so you figure the last time they even thought about making replacement parts was 15+ years ago. So sad for us HT guys...
