88 hf with d15b2
hey guys, looking for some input on my swap. thx in advance. 88 hf with d15b2 long block and everything else hf. car runs fine but mpg is around 30. i thought i would get better. do i need to change ecu? any ideas????
I could only manage high 20's with my 89 hatch D15B2. I get the same gas mileage with my B16A swap. And I have well over double the power, and 5 gears instead of 4! lol
My crx DX auto with dpfi d15b2 gets 33-34 mpg, so with HF trans should get around 40...so intake and ecu came off the HF? My car got 21 mpg but seemed to run fine but found out my new plug wires were bad and had a random miss that was undetectable w/o timing light. Bottom line, it should get better mpg. Somethings not right.

When's the last time there was a full tune up done to it? Plugs, wires, cap and rotor, oil change and other basic maintenance will increase fuel mileage if it hasn't been done in awhile
