Hey guys,

I'm thinking of adding a 10" Boston Acoustics Generator Sub (comes with boston box, complete package) for $150

and then the Rockford Fosgate 300S amp on sale at crutchfield for $200..

Think it'll be a good combo? Don't want anything too loud, I NEED the remote-bass boost feature of the fosgate (my nak doesn't have sub control).. And the box itself is pretty small, I like it..

Anyone here anything good/bad on the boston generator subs?

I personally don't know what it sound like, but i know that boston acoustics are pretty good brand. Here's the only review on the web i could find. Sorry i can't help much

Boston Acoustics are generally SQ subs, I haven't heard that sub. If your looking to have hard bass, i dont think the BA will be the sub for you. If you say the hell with it, get it, then crank the mhz down.. you wont be impressed.. It just depends on your music and use for it.

 

boston acoustic speakers are good quality I have seen any of there subs though....... in my opinion subs are something you need to decied for yourself, there are different subs for different kinda's of music.....for example ive had eclipse aluminium's and they were hard hitting subs great for rap and dance not that great for softer music. JL has come up with great reliable sub now-a-days they are reasonable priced too a jl w3 should do u well for about the same price....
