How does this look?

First time at a junkyard and ripping off a valve cover. How's this look to you guys?

It's a d16y7.

Looks like it has a LOT of miles, or someone didn't change their oil very often.

every sohc ive seen looks like that or worse, but there's nothing for us to judge by looking at that pic.

According to his post history he has a Y8 that seems to be crapping out. Why he's going fora Y7 head is beyond me.

Yeah sorry. Was just curious. First time looking at inside of the engine so I decided to ask so I have an idea of what a engine with a ton of miles or an engine in great shape looks like. My y8 is having compression issues as well. Sorry for not being specific.
