Donor car question for the knowledgeable
Hi all, I've been sifting through trying to find an answer, but no luck, hoping someone here can help with this.
I recently aquired a 89 Civic LX Sedan, D15B2 motor. I currently drive a 89 Accord, A20A3 motor. I want to do a MPFI conversion on the Civic, and have that be my main car.
I'm trying to decide if I'm going to sell/part out the Accord, or if I can use it for a donor car for a MPFI conversion.
I doubt I am lucky enough that the A20A3 intake manifold will fit/can be modified to fit? If not, are there any other parts (throttle body, harnesses etc) that I should consider harvesting towards my conversion?
Any info from someone with A series experience is appreciated. Don't want to sell it and find out that I've parted out something I that I need.

id assume if it bolts up you can use it. you have to re-wire some stuff and you'd have to figure that out by yourself. im sure not too many people, if any, have tried this
Yeah, there doesn't seem to be that much info out there, period, on the A series engines and parts compatibility. Rather not start tearing the old car apart just to find out something doesn't fit, but might have to do just that. I've been able to determine that the intake, while very, very close, isn't going to be a bolt on matchup, so probably best to sell it intact, and source the parts I need elsewhere.
I don't think the A series manifold will bolt to the D series head, it would be easier and alot less of a head ache to just use D series parts, they're plentiful, cheap, and there's plenty of info out there to get it done
