Greetings New Member to H-T From South Florida.
Hi my names Jessie.
I been around lurking for a while on H-T now but just now deciding to make It official and start my build thread I think its been a good amount of time and me deciding that this is the car for me. I purchased this car in Homestead South Florida and moved it To where I live currently in West palm.
the car is a 1989 Civic Si.
the car has its down sides but
the 1989 Si is a one year only car in North America. Not only does it share many of the same styling as the JDM EF3, but it is also lighter than the 90-91 Si. The interior is also very rare as the pattern is a one year only. Also in the USA it is the only Si to have the seat-belts mounted to the pillar and not the door like the 90-91 which means many of the JDM EDM parts are a direct swap such as door panels, glass, power windows ect. These cars restored to their original beauty are very desirable to certain enthusiast's as myself.
I just gathered some pictures when I purchased her and the current progress I've done over the past 5 months so far.
spec's:
89' Civic Si
Stock 89' Si interior.
B16A Si-R swap.
Hasport mounts.
Son as I do a nice write up and include the pictures I'll upload so who Ever wishes to follow can do so. If your not wiling to wait for this I've started a mini build thread on my Instagram.
