stock internal h22a making 243whp and 182 wtrq on mustang dyno??
Last weekend I was getting my car tuned for imports vs domestics at new england dragway and it made an astonishing amount of power for a full h22a swap with 11.1:1 comp, supertech v. springs, skunk2 pro mani ported to 75mm, bbk 75mm tb and bad kit. Was going to hit the motor with a 75 dry shot but after the tune I didn't bother cause I didn't want to stress the internals as much as I thought it would have if it had only made the expected 200-210 whp. Car was tuned at a conservative 11.2 a/f ratio. How could it be that this motor made this much power and has anyone seen any similar cases?
I'm guessing this is a H22A Type S with no cams or valve upgrades.....
Can you post up the dyno sheet? Those are very healthy numbers for a stock H22A.
Were your results crank Hp or wheel horse power, what correction factors where used? If that is crank Hp, it would put you in the 190-200 Whp range.
