I just bought a 96 civic ex... The sun roof wont flip up only rolls back. Any idea what the problem might be? Thank you

 

check and see the slider has not come off the rail and any other obvious issues.

 

Ok i just checked it but it looks real good.. No dents or anything..

 

dents ? try pushing it up as you're opening it

 

I just try it but nope.. :/ i do hear the relay work.. And checked ground and hot wire.. All work.. Cuz it does roll back and forth with no problem.. But when i push the middle button to make it flip up..i could hear the little motor get weak.. Like a dieing battery.. Is a different fuse for all 3 functions perhaps? Or one for all 3? Because it doesnt have the fuse panel map..

 

is it a 4 door or 2 door?? i know your name says ek sedan love. but didnt wanna just jump to conclusions. but i thought the 2 doors are the only ones that flip up and back.. the 4 door only slide back.. not pop up and back.. i have a 2dr ex and a 4dr ex and its how i jus explained

 

Lol yes i have a 98 civic sedan lx... The civic with the sun roof is my wifes car.. And its a 96 civic coupe ex...
