Post 99 Honda Accord late shifting

I don't own this car anymore but when I had it (AutoTranny) it used to shift pretty late. Driving at Normal speed it would shift between 4.5k-6k on normal driving. And when I accelerated more it would Literally RedLine and that wasnt full throttle.Like I said I don't own the car anymore but it was a question I never got an answer to. 1999 Honda Accord EX V6

Since you don't have the car anymore there won't be a reliable way to diagnose the issue. Could have been a TPS problem, could have been some other issue with a sensor. Did you ever check for codes when the car was in your possession?

Yea, It was the EGR valve and an O2 sensor but I don't think that has anything to do. I know the V6's Had major Tranny Issues but not sure.....
