Ok, so I have a 2000 LS (OBD2) going into my 91 HF. I have a OBD1 LS ECU and an OBD1 distributor.

2 questions:

1 - Can i use my stock wire harness by adding the Hasport obd0 to obd1 adapter

2 - is there any loss on the motor if i bring the engine down to obd1

2-no...just have some extra sensors on the engine that will not be used

 

Thanks man...here is my project. Got the CRX for $900 (still runs with original d15 with 300k on it) got the LS for $400. The auto tranny has already been scraped (and for sale) and the manual tranny is waiting on the new clutch/fly wheel. Motor is being rebuilt this weekend. Cant wait!

 

What about starter...can I just use an ls starter or will need to be off of an obd1 engine as well
