height adjustment and toe with coilovers
i will be purchasing coilovers in the next week and I am a bit confused (about the car as well as other things but we wont go into that
) if i have the car at stock height and lower it will my toe change dramatically. will i need to get an alignment everytime i change the height. I know that there are toe kits out there. if this is an absolute must which one should i buy. thanks in advance

When you lower your car the toe will change dramatically. Sometimes, depending oers in height, the vehicle is almost undriveable. When I put my coilovers in my '99 Si by the time I got to the alignment shop, only 2 days and 100 miles later, I had rubber shavings going up the side of my vehicle. I also highly recommend adjustable camber kits front and rear. Once the vehicle is aligned your tires will wear like normal. If you change the height on your coilovers the toe will change. If your were to put t back to stock height for the winter or whatever you would have to get the vehicle aligned again. I usually lower my coilovers all the way down when I get to a show. I mark where the colar was then when I raise it back up I put the colar to the mark and everything is kosher. Also remember that when you get your car aligned you need to get a full four wheel alignment since the car can be adjusted front or back. I know a lot on this subject because I was a salesperson at an automotive accessory shop for almost ten years. I've seen some expensive tires get worn out in 1000 miles because their owners don't want to spend another 100 bucks to get a good alignment. Do your suspension the right way and you'll be happy. Also go with a good coilover setup, I run Ground-Control with Tokico Struts and the car rides like a dream and is cake to adjust height wise. Goodluck man.
