Sorry, stupid question.......how to determine if sub is DVC or not?
Ok, seems the guy I bought the subs from don't know if they're DVC or not. There are two tabs for each side (2 for pos. and 2 for neg.). The tabs are perpendicular to each other, but yet look like one piece. (Maybe so user can point wire in the way they want?) Sorry I'm confused here. I'll try to get a pic of the back of the sub 'shortly'.
BTW, they're two Rockford Fosgate 10's in RF's sealed box.

if u have an HE then it's not DVC according to crutchfield's site

If there is only that set of terminals and not another set on the other side, it is single voice coil.
