Default What's up? My Prelude

Hello Guys!!! I'm Atheari and even though I'm new to this forum I'm not new to the prelude scene. I currently own a red 99 Prelude base model.

I used to own a 92 prelude si that I had before this one, that unfortunately had a bad bottom end and had been sitting for a few months before I finally had to let her go... I saw this beauty on Craigslist a few weeks later again and had the money to buy it back to do a h22 swap but the original owner bought it up before I could get to it.

Now on to my red rose of a prelude...lol

This is probably going to be my build thread because I have lots of plans for this car in the near future :D Right now here are some pics of my engine bay as I constantly work on this car. The engine bay will never be complete until its gets fully shaved and tucked

I just recently relocated the battery into the trunk and the fuse box into the glove box. I don't have any pictures but I took the battery tray and ground it and made it so I could weld it to the floor so I can use the stock clamp without it flying everywhere. Figured it would be safer than gluing it like I have seen some people do.:nono:

eew a dirty transmission! Even though that intake was "made" for this car, It doesn't fit properly.

I deleted all the components of power steering as the pump went out a few weeks after I got it. Looped the lines so it wouldn't destroy the rack. I need to get a skunk2 intake manifold so I can delete that pesky dead egr system. it just takes up space now. (yeah I throw a code for that)

I plan on re-ringing the whole motor and getting an f20b to build and turbo. Don't hate on my motor choice as I plan on getting it stroked out to 2.4 liters and putting eagle rods and cp pistons with the stock compression ratio and sleeving it to withstand my boost target of 25psi. I want to build the head with all motor cams and the usual port and polish and titanium valve springs and retainers and 3 angle valve job.

I'll probably have questions here and there and I sometimes forget to take pictures while I'm doing major things on my car. Questions and comments are welcome and of course if you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all!!!

MINI UPDATE:

I finally found a place that sold 2gauge 100% copper wire that dint charge over $10/ft. So I bought 25ft for $2/ft and finished the big 3 upgrade along with rewiring the starter, alternator and fusebox with 2 gauge wire and moving the battery to the trunk.
