Icon6 99 Honda Accord, no power!

Hey guys, Mike here.

I have a 99 Honda Accord coupe with the 4 cyl. manual shift.
Im relatively new to this honda swap stuff, so please bear with me.

I just recently got this vehicle, and despite its many mechanical problems, it still a great car, and i love the way it drives and handles the ruff roads around here.

Heres my dilemma. Im not totally sure but i think the engine needs to be repaired, or replaced. Im told that these cars, even in the 4cyl versions are quick vehicles, well mine...not so much. It starts fine, works great and it dosen't put any oil or smoke out the back end. With all that said, my buddy took it for a ride and he thought the came as i do, its gutless...the power is only available if your gearing it hard, and at highway speeds, 5th gear is only good on a level surface, any incline at all and your switching down into 4th. and even 3rd. We did a questionable dry compression test which all 3 cly. had 130 but one had like 73? I know none of theses numbers are good, but what id like to know is, what do you guys think i should do, rebuild it, replace it or do a total engine swap with a different type of engine? still honda of course.
A engine swap is what id like, but i have no idea what engines if any from hondas that will bolt up to my manual tranny? please help!..again newbi here, please be respectful of that.

*UPDATE*

I have a F20B that's currently sitting in my engine bay. The physical install went very smooth. I replaced the old engine mounts, cleaned all the rusted areas and repainted the engine bay. It starting to look really good!

Any one out there with hands on knowledge on how to sort the wiring, and info on what might work as a replacement for for a power steering bracket?
