How much would you pay for this car?
First off, I'm not sure this is the right forum to post this in. The general discussion seemed like a likely place, but at the same time too off-topic. So, sorry if this is misplaced.

I have a 1998 Accord Coupe with the 2.3L Vtec F23A1 and a 5-speed with 160,000 miles (260,000km - I'm in Canada) on it that I'm trying to sell. I'm asking $4,200 (or best offer). All 4 classifieds sites I've posted it on have collectively gotten it well over 2,000 view, but I've literally only gotten one bite on it in the past 3 weeks.
It's still in beautiful shape. No rust, clean interior, strong and quiet engine, strong transmission, good clutch, a few years left on timing belt, no suspension noises, new brand-name tires, all paperwork since it was new. I've put over $5,000 in just parts into it to get it to this condition.
It has new ceramic brakes all around, winter tires, almost an entire cooling system overhaul (radiator, hoses, OEM cap, OEM thermostat, temp sensors, fan switch, heater core valve, coolant, etc. ... it never overheated, I'm just paranoid) and comes certified and emissions tested (which you need to get it registered as roadworthy where I live). No warning lights on the dash, rustproofed in 2011, A/C still works, power moonroof, iPod and AUX integration with the stock radio, everything you'd want in a car.
The car is 100% roadworthy, and needs nothing as it is. I just want to get myself a Corolla.
Here's a link to one of the ads I've posted.
The only offer I've gotten from the car was from a neighbor, but he just gave me a phone call to let me know he decided he didn't need a car at the moment.
I know I'm asking a bit more than others for this car, considering it's fairly average mileage, but I just want to know... considering I bought the car for $2,700 and sunk over $5,000 in parts and other minor modifications (did I mention it has the Euro-R headlights and JDM-style fog-lights with OEM JDM switch that no Accords in the US or Canada came with, plus HIDs) ... am I being reasonable with the price?
I'm not trying to make a profit. I know I wasted a LOT of money on the car (part of being a self-maintaining OCD car owner, I suppose). I just want half of what I have into the car. Peoples' lack of interest is honestly just making me think I'm wasting my time.
Check out the link I posted. What do you guys think it's worth?

You could reasonably get $3500 for that car depending a few factors not mentioned:
1. Any Accidents / body damage history?
2. How many owners?
3. Clean Title?
I actually bought a 1998 4 door EX for $2500 4 years ago it had 149k BUT I bought it from the original owner who had a 2" thick folder of all honda maintenance receipts & he recently did the clutch & proper interval up keep on the car so I didnt mind the mileage.
your price is not unfair just keep in mind that its a coupe & not a sedan that alone will shrink the potential buyer base in itself as most people who can even drive a manual speed transmission tend to want 4 doors or really sporty coupes....just my OP

Cars are always cheaper in America, so you can't really base the price off the American market. There's quite a price difference between a well maintained car w/ service records and a manual transmission compared to some poorly maintained leave it till it breaks heap of **** car w/ a transaxle. The km's are getting up there so the timing belt and possibly water pump will need replacing around 300k, and some ppl may think that's getting high, even though we all know that's nothing for a well maintained accord. Timing belt longevity isn't based on time, it's based on mileage and the materials used in them. The way I see it that's at least a $400 dollar job so you might want to consider that in your price. Personally I would just keep it. Clean body, manual, non ulev engine and you know what's been done to it.
Canadian Market: $3700-$4000
