Whats with OBD0 ECU connector pin-outs?

Default Whats with OBD0 ECU connector pin-outs?

why does everyone count wrong on the plugs? the wiring is correct and everything but if you look at an OBD0 ecu plug or look at the actual wiring diagram they count the top row 1234 ect. not 1357 like every damn pinout?
just annoying wiring up your own harness and looking at the diagram and the pin ou!

I noticed that years ago, wondered about that too but I've never had a problem.

This seems very important. Can you guys post some clear pictures of the rear side of your OBD0 ECU connectors showing the discrepancy between the service manual pin out and reality?

that pic is right ron, there is a ''diy mpfi made easy'' forum and he says it goes a1,a3,a5,a7 ridiculus! i just find it a lot easier matching what honda puts you know, but i guess thats me. while on the topic, anyone know who i can send my jumper harness to test?
