when do u see yourself giving up teg?
im in the process of starting a career that pays decently. 2 days ago my dad asked me when im selling my 94 GSR and getting a new car. i haven't really given it much thought. but my baby is getting a lil old. and a new car would be nice. its hard for me to let go of my teg, w/ the work i put on it and just that its my baby!! i dunno, im still living at home, so really that's priority number is to move out.
to answer my own question, i think in a year when im all settled. i should still get good trade in value for it. im going for 4 door sedan. looking at a used 540 or a S4.

i just got my 4dr ls and i payed half for the car and my parents paid the other half and im only 16 and thinkin to sell it probably next summer cuz its old and has 144ks on it probably gona get like 97+
Two years or less. Tired of the lowered car scene. Tired of being stereotyped and harrased by cops. Gonna get a 4x4 Tacoma and a hatch as a project car
i dont think im ever gonna get rid of her. Shes my pride and joy. if i keep her for the rest of the time im in college then i wont ever let her go. one day she might even be a classic.
Well I have no reason to get rid of the teg. We just bought another car, Toyota Matrix XRs, and it has some space, which is all that I really needed, so the teg stays, at least for another year

This is exactly what I'm contemplating right now. I've just finished paying the Teg off and I have a very good paying job, so the idea of trading in/up is tempting. I was thinking about getting a Turbo MR2...but the idea of having to pay car payments again is one of the things keeping me from doing so. Plus, I also still live at home and the priority at the moment is to get a place of my own. I'll probably just keep the Teg for now, move out, then get something else later on.
I'm getting to the point where my 94 automatic is tiring me
it's my 1st automatic every other car was a stick and this feels awkward
anyway this dude across the street from me is selling his 2000 gsr, so i figured I'd sell mine for like $6500 and buy his, he offered me a killer price

I don't think I'll ever get rid of her unless she gets totalled. I think about
all the time, money, blood, sweat, and tears I've put into her in just the
last two years of her life and I can't see giving her up. Now I'm not saying
I won't get another car down the road but if that happens she'll be transformed
into a track car.

Im actually thinking of buying a 99 ITR. It's CW with about 35000 Miles on it. I will keep it forever and when I'm old and ritch it will turn into a race car.
I plan on keeping my car forever
Maybe my kid will be able to drive it one day and maybe he'll appreciate dad's blood/sweat/tears
Well i'm only 18... so thats wishful thinking

I love my Teg and all...but now that my wife and I have a baby, I'm seriously contemplating a 4-door. A 4-door GSR would be nice, but if I going to go through all of the trouble of getting a new car, I'd like to upgrade a little. I've been leaning towards the WRX, but I'm not totally sold on Subaru yet. VW is out of the question because I question their reliability. Not sure what's gonna happen...But I don't forsee me having my Teg much longer than 2 more years.
Done w/ school in may and going to S. Florida. Gonna prolly get an RSR-S and keep the 98LS, and get a second long block and built it up turbo. That until I can afford a 93+ 993 w/o car payments.
i don't know when i will get rid of my teg......
most likely i will be keeping it for quite a while....i have some other things i want first, like a buying a house
also waiting to see if they come out with a turbo 350Z??
but in all reality my car is nice right now and gets me from point A to B.....

I'm thinking about selling my 95 gsr and buying a 1991-1995 MR2 Turbo. Don't know if i wanna go through with this yet, but MR2 Turbo's with the TRD widebody is so freaking nice!!! But the teg also kicks ***, I have a 98 front end sitting in my room didnt even put it on yet, I still want to mod my teg for awhile. I'll probably get the MR2 after i graduate high school.
i don't think i'll ever get rid of my '94ls, it's been my daily driver for over 6yrs and 201,000 miles (a grand total of 236,000 on the car). haven't had a single problem yet.
I have been really looking at the WRX and will be getting one in probably a few more months. Wife and 2 kids kind of hard to get inside of a coupe. So I am looking for a faster four door. Maybe even a h22a accord with a turbo.
