New to this site Andlooking for some advise/help, sometime last week i had a engine light on code P0341 cam possition sensor so i took the car to the garage and te mechanic said the timing chain had stretches, this needed doing anyway so i went out and brought the chain and and the job was done then 3 days later this code came back again we later found that the chain had stretched again this being due to it not being a genuine chain i left it 2 days whilst waiting for a genuine one to arrive in this time the timing had skipped and the car would not start!! Well now the genuine chain and tensioner has been fitted and all seams well appart from the fault code will not clear at all had it plugged in and attempted to erase the code 3 times still nothing, oh and also the vtec has disabled itself so thers no vtec COULD ANYBODY HELP WITH THIS PLEASE !! Thanks oh and also changed the cam sensors still no difference forgot to mention this is a type R

 

Stupid question... but are you 100% sure it's not a cam sensor verse the chain stretching now since the code won't go away.
