hello to all. im pretty new to this forum so please go easy on me. lol
well to start things of i have a question regarding a crack that happen to my gst tranny.
car: 92 eg hatch
swap:97 b18c1 with bolt on's and light head job
tranny: lsd gsr tranny
ecu: po6 chipped read lines at 9500

well this friday all day the car was running good like a champ. after work i when't to my moms house at night and my car was sitting outside. It was raining all after noon (lightly). I was about to go home but i needed to go deliver something really quick a couple of blocks up the street. In the way there i stepped on it and i got alot of wheel spin. in my way back i launched from a dead stop. there was a loud crack and the engine died i tough it was something i did so i just turn it on again. i was trying to get home so i just tried leaving but the engine did noise but the car dint move so i turned it off. after a while of looking i found that there was a whole in my transmission. the whole was all around the speed sensor.

what might be the reason of this happening?

any info would help a lot thank you

 

It seems, that you broke your stock differential, and also the tranny case
change your tranny case or get a new one
the reason is wheel spin and old tranny IMO

stock differencial gone same what david974 said.

 

Broken diff and prossibly final drive due to wheel hop.

Pull the trans, take it apart and see exactly what was damaged, if it's just the diff get a case and diff. If you need the final drive too you're probably better off just replacing the trans.
