hey guys hoping i can get some help with my car

i came back from vacation...only gone 4 days...came home to try and start my car.. first try the car started then died instantly...tried it again and same thing....i replaced the battery and starter..and still wont start...just get one click....the only way the car start is if i jumpstart it directly to the starter...any help would be appreciated...thanks

Have the battery tested.

 

ok ill try that...but even when i try to boost my car on the battery....i still get the same thing....plus when i put the key on the on position. with no booster cables on the battery...all my lights work fine with no dimming

 

Have you checked the rubber stopper for the switch at the top of the clutch pedal?

 

i have not....i thought i was having a wiring issue and got frustrated and tore my dash out...ill check the neutral safety switch
