heres the deal i was missing a detent ball from my ys1 so i used a ball bearing from something else that was smaller... could this keep my car from moving? it doesnt even roll in neutral its like stuck in gear.... please help i daily this

 

Did you disassemble the trans before hand? Was it a workings trans to begin with?

 

i purchased it disassembled after a rebuild from some kid everything looked clean except it was missing that ball... It just makes since that is the problem or am i wrong? i can start the car but when i let out the clutch it stalls and if its off and in neutral it wont move like it stuck in a gear...

 

You could of assembled it with two gears stuck in gear. Did you check clearances of the case/shims? Looks like you will be opening the case up again.

 

i really hope not i dont have that kind of time... im really hoping these new detent ***** and springs will fix my issue im waiting for them to arrive in the mail... should be tomorrow and i will post the results as their is no info out there really on what to do if you loose a detent ball or spring
